Facilities Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Assistant to support the efficient operation of our facilities in Dallas, Texas. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate various aspects of facility management, ensuring seamless functionality and comfort for all occupants.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the scheduling and setup of conference rooms to meet organizational needs.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate catering services for meetings and events, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Monitor the condition of facilities and initiate necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain facility standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify areas needing improvement.
• Respond promptly to facility-related inquiries or issues raised by staff.
• Assist in the planning and execution of facility upgrades or renovations.
• Previous experience in facilities coordination or a related role.
• Proficiency in using CMMS software to manage maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with managing conference room setups and catering services.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, service providers, and team members.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in a workplace setting.
• Detail-oriented approach to identifying facility maintenance needs.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
