Executive IT Support

We are looking for an experienced Executive IT Support specialist to join our team in San Jose, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will provide high-level technical assistance directly to executives while supporting broader IT operations. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your expertise in managing service desk operations and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct IT support to executives, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

• Perform remote troubleshooting and configuration of equipment to accommodate varying schedules.

• Handle hardware repair and replacement tasks, including monitors, docking stations, and related devices.

• Provide Tier 3 support to assist team members as needed.

• Manage service desk operations, including ticket tracking and resolution.

• Maintain and update asset inventory to ensure accurate records of IT resources.

• Utilize Active Directory for user account management and troubleshooting.

• Foster strong customer relationships by explaining technical solutions in a user-friendly manner.

• Collaborate with IT teams to implement and uphold service desk best practices.3

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
• Proficiency in Active Directory for account management and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of service desk management and ITSM principles.
• Experience handling service desk tickets and deskside support.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to perform hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both remote and on-site environments.
• Strong organizational skills for asset inventory management.
