Responsibilities:
• Manage employment litigation cases independently, ensuring thorough analysis and preparation for each case.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to businesses on employment issues, including employee management, terminations, and compliance.
• Represent clients in lawsuits, audits, investigations, and other legal proceedings related to employment law.
• Develop strategies to address wage and hour compliance and other complex legal matters faced by employers.
• Collaborate with HR professionals to provide integrated solutions that support healthy workplace environments.
• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, briefs, and case summaries.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies and client advisement.
• Build strong relationships with clients to inspire confidence and trust in legal counsel.
• Maintain superior organizational and problem-solving skills to handle multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Uphold the firm's mission and values while contributing to its long-term goals.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Extensive experience in California employment law and civil litigation.
• Proven ability to manage litigation cases independently and provide strategic legal advice.
• Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal software such as case management and document management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and inspire confidence in clients.
