Our client in bustling downtown Houston is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting employees while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert support in employee relations matters for a workforce of approximately 200 employees.
Collaborate with managers and HR leadership to address employee relations issues, performance-related concerns, and policy adherence.
Conduct investigations related to workplace concerns and recommended appropriate resolutions.
Offer guidance and coaching to employees and leadership to promote engagement and job satisfaction.
Utilize advanced Microsoft Word skills to produce reports, correspondence, and documentation.
Work on multiple HR projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Preferred Skills:
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities tailored to diverse organizational levels.
Familiarity with employment law compliance, organizational ethics, and HR best practices.
This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 70K working 1 day from home.
• At least 4 years of HR Generalist experience, including talent management and policy interpretation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations, including workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating precise and accurate HR documentation.
• Proven ability to support and address the needs of approximately 200 employees.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills tailored to diverse organizational levels.
• Familiarity with employment law compliance and HR best practices.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and leadership levels.
