DevOps Technical Lead

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced DevOps Technical Lead to join our team in Mahwah, New Jersey. In this role, you will take charge of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable systems, while driving infrastructure strategies to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical initiatives that enhance application performance and prepare our platform for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive backend, infrastructure, and DevOps strategy to support organizational goals.
• Design and implement scalable and secure systems that ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve complex performance issues across infrastructure and integrations.
• Lead the development of backend systems, coding standards, API integrations, and overall architecture.
• Direct cloud strategies, infrastructure tooling, automation processes, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Assess and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor infrastructure effectiveness.
• Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure early detection of issues.
• Optimize infrastructure costs while managing budgets effectively.
• Communicate technical solutions and strategies clearly to stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  

• 5–10 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems and infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in DevOps practices, including automation, deployments, monitoring, and ensuring system reliability.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize web application performance and scale systems effectively.
• Experience managing frontend and database infrastructure, with a focus on addressing architectural inefficiencies.
• Familiarity with working in Agile environments and collaborating across teams.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Expertise in tools such as Azure, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
• ASP.NET Framework
• C# Programming
• Front End - Angular & RXJS
• Bonus: Experience in developing and scaling custom internal software solutions.
