We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Monroe, Michigan. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance to end-users by addressing hardware, software, and configuration issues, ensuring optimal system performance across all locations. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the efficient operation and upgrading of IT systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide timely support for end-user issues escalated by the Service Desk, resolving hardware and software problems effectively.
• Fulfill service requests for new or replacement hardware, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and system optimization.
• Assist with Windows 11 upgrades, including imaging, configuring, and installing software according to standard procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is added to the domain with current security patches and software updates applied.
• Deploy equipment to end-users, perform data transfers, and provide operational overviews of new systems and software.
• Document and test new software installation procedures to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft applications.
• Manage Active Directory tasks, Multi-Factor Authentication setups, and network configurations for wired and wireless connectivity.
• Handle mobile device management processes and utilize tools like Intune to ensure seamless integration.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in working with Dell Technologies, Apple devices, and backup solutions.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management, Windows operating systems (including Windows 11), and deployments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Multi-Factor Authentication, and network protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues effectively.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management tools such as InTune.
• Competence in using Microsoft SCCM for system management.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to end-users.
