Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a contract with the potential for a permanent position. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the development and optimization of key reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong technical abilities, and a collaborative approach to solving complex data challenges.

Responsibilities:
• Build and refine reports to address underlying data needs and ensure accurate insights.
• Evaluate existing reporting processes, propose innovative solutions, and implement improvements.
• Automate accrual processes to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Reconcile financial accounts and perform checks to ensure accuracy.
• Create and manage data feeds that integrate seamlessly with subledger systems.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deliver high-quality results.
• Utilize Power BI, Excel, SQL, and DAX to analyze and visualize data effectively.
• Apply reinsurance knowledge to address specific industry-related challenges.
• Think creatively to solve data issues and support strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to the successful completion of project-based tasks within deadlines.
• Proven experience in data analysis and financial reporting.
• Expertise in reconciling accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, and DAX.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
• Familiarity with reinsurance processes and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
• Experience automating workflows and optimizing data feeds.
