Cost Accountant

We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join our team in North Tonawanda, New York. This role involves working closely with customers and the sales team to determine optimal application methods and system components that meet specific requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in cost analysis, and able to coordinate effectively across departments in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with customers and sales representatives to identify the most suitable system components, including skids, tanks, valves, pumps, and instrumentation.• Review and assess requests for estimates, ensuring they align with company standards and customer needs.• Provide precise calculations for labor, material, and subcontractor costs for various projects.• Source material pricing and obtain competitive bids from subcontractors.• Coordinate with internal departments during the quotation phase to address scheduling, labor requirements, and manufacturing processes.• Act as a liaison between the sales team and customers to clarify concepts, expectations, and project needs.• Organize kickoff meetings with the manufacturing team to ensure alignment on new orders.• Complete additional tasks and projects assigned by management in a timely manner.• Adhere to all workplace safety regulations, utilize protective equipment, and report hazardous conditions or injuries promptly.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
