Corporate Paralegal

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Corporate Paralegal to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting various corporate legal functions, including contract management, real estate matters, and compliance oversight. Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate leases, vendor agreements, service contracts, and licensing agreements.
• Ensure all contracts align with legal standards, company policies, and relevant industry regulations.
• Maintain a comprehensive and organized repository of contracts, tracking key dates and renewal deadlines.
• Oversee a centralized database for real estate leases, monitoring critical terms, renewal options, and important deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address lease-related concerns and modifications.
• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports related to contracts and real estate transactions.
• Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, ensuring all legal aspects are addressed.
• Summarize and organize legal documents for review by internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.
• Perform legal research on corporate and business law topics to support decision-making and compliance.
• Stay informed about changes in legislation and industry regulations that could impact the company.
• Proven experience in corporate law, particularly in managing contracts and real estate matters.
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and lease agreements.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts with attention to detail and legal accuracy.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations and their application to corporate operations.
• Ability to manage and maintain organized legal documentation and databases.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external legal counsel.
• Strong research skills to conduct due diligence and stay informed on legal developments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; paralegal certification is preferred.
