Corporate Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to key financial operations while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in lease accounting, month-end close processes, and general ledger management.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze lease contracts to create payment and amortization schedules, ensuring proper accounting treatment under applicable standards.
• Record manual journal entries and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy in financial data.
• Manage lease payments and accounting processes within the system, ensuring timely updates and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support audits and financial reporting requirements.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company accounting policies.
• Assist with the implementation and integration of Oracle Fusion systems.
• Prepare detailed reconciliations and supporting documents for month-end close and financial reporting.
• Monitor and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverables.
• Active CPA certification or equivalent qualification.
• At least 7 years of experience in accounting with a focus on attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and advanced Excel skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of lease accounting and general ledger processes.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage month-end and bank reconciliation tasks effectively.
