Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in alignment with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
- Conduct financial analysis and develop forecasts to support strategic business decisions.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and monitor accounting records and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with management to provide insights on financial performance and operational improvements.
- Support light human resources functions, including payroll and employee documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in budgeting and planning processes to optimize resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- Proficiency in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close procedures and financial statement preparation.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and its functionalities.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with HR-related tasks, such as payroll processing, is a plus.
