Contracts Manager

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in Oakland, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in overseeing procurement processes, ensuring efficient contract management, and driving vendor negotiations. Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with organizational standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to manage vendor selection and negotiate favorable agreements.
• Generate purchase orders based on procurement needs and oversee their administration.
• Facilitate contract negotiations to secure optimal terms and conditions for the organization.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement activities.
• Monitor contract performance and resolve any issues that arise during execution.
• Provide strategic insights to improve procurement processes and vendor relationships.
• Draft and revise contracts to reflect organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
• Support category management initiatives to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Proven experience in contract management, including negotiation and administration.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, including purchase order generation and vendor analysis.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and contract drafting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sourcing teams and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in vendor selection and category management.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate negotiations and resolve issues.
• Experience in consumer electronics procurement is a plus but not required.
