Contracts Attorney

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Attorney to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Peabody, Massachusetts. In this role, you will focus on reviewing and negotiating commercial service contracts and software agreements. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze and review commercial service contracts and software agreements to ensure compliance with legal standards and organizational policies.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to align agreements with business objectives.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to address contract-related inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Utilize tools such as Ironclad, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce to manage contract processes and documentation.
• Advise on legal and contractual risks, providing guidance to ensure informed decision-making.
• Conduct thorough research to support contract negotiations and ensure adherence to applicable laws.
• Draft, revise, and finalize agreements to meet organizational and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of contract negotiations and updates for compliance and reference purposes.
• Train and assist colleagues in utilizing legal and contract management software effectively.
• Communicate with clients and employees across different locations to ensure seamless contract processes.

• Must be a licensed attorney with relevant credentials.

• Proven experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and software agreements.

• Strong knowledge of contract law and legal standards applicable to commercial agreements.

• Proficiency in using tools such as Ironclad, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce is preferred.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

• Familiarity with legal and contractual risks in commercial transactions.

• French speaking is a PLUS
