Contract Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Contract Specialist on a contract to hire basis for a local landscaping company in Houston, Texas. This position focuses on managing service agreements and contracts within the landscaping and maintenance sectors. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and expertise in contract compliance, auditing, tech savvy and management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage multiple service agreements and contracts, ensuring they align with company and industry standards.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of contracts and audit findings for quick accessibility.

• Conduct thorough audits of contracts to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.

• Monitor contract terms and pricing, ensuring adherence to legal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address contract-related issues and optimize processes.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Aspire software to analyze data and manage contract details effectively.

• Develop strategies to streamline contract management and auditing processes.

• Provide regular updates and reports on contract performance and compliance.

• Ensure all contracts are executed and maintained in accordance with company policies.

• Support the team in identifying opportunities for process improvement related to contract oversight.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, auditing, or a related field.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
• Experience with Aspire software or similar contract management tools is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contract compliance, pricing, and terms.
• Background in construction or landscaping industries is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for addressing contract-related issues.
