Commercial Counsel

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Counsel to join our team on a contract basis to cover a 10-week paternity leave. In this role, you will handle a high volume of contract drafting, negotiation, and review across various industries and agreements. This position requires a legal expert with strong transactional expertise and the ability to manage multiple contracts daily.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including SaaS agreements, M& A documents, supply agreements, and facility-related contracts.

• Manage a high volume of contracts, processing up to 10 new agreements daily.

• Ensure all agreements align with corporate policies and legal standards.

• Provide expert legal advice on transactional matters to support business goals.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to finalize agreements efficiently.

• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

• Maintain accurate records of contract negotiations and finalized agreements.

• Licensed attorney with active bar membership in any U.S. state.

• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.

• Strong knowledge of corporate law and transactional legal practices.

• Experience handling SaaS agreements, M& A transactions, and supply contracts.

• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
