As a CFO, you will be tasked with providing financial consulting solutions, conducting balance sheet reviews, and handling grant accounting.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial consulting solutions to assist in the organization's operations
- Conduct thorough reviews of balance sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle grant accounting tasks, ensuring all grants are properly accounted for and reported
- Utilize Quickbooks Online for various financial operations and record keeping
- Develop and implement forecasting and modeling strategies to guide financial decisions
- Assist in community education and advocacy initiatives from a financial perspective
- Ensure all financial processes and records adhere to legal requirements and standards.
- Proven experience in a Chief Financial Officer role or similar
- In-depth understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and financial management software such as Quickbooks Online
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
- CPA is a strong advantage
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in Balance Sheet Reviews
- Experience in Grant Accounting
- Proficiency in Forecasting & Modeling
- High ethical standards and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Strategic planning skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions for the company's future.
