Cash Manager

Our firm is assisting a client in identifying a CPA with strong mortgage servicing and cash management experience to join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, reconciliations, and reporting for a large-scale, government-backed loan portfolio. The Cash Manager will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all cash-related transactions while providing leadership and oversight to the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash operations, including loan activity, disbursements, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Oversee month-end close processes and prepare accurate financial deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Implement and monitor quality standards, corrective action plans, and KPIs.
• Supervise, train, and support staff to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Partner with auditors to maintain compliance and accurate documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Active CPA license.

3 years of recent mortgage servicing-related accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of cash management, reconciliations, and federal fund accounting.

Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
