Business Analyst III

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst III to join our team in Houston, Texas. This long-term contract position involves conducting detailed operational analyses to support strategic decision-making within the business unit. The role requires a proactive individual with both quantitative and qualitative research skills who can manage medium to large-scale projects and improve business processes.

Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed operational analyses to provide actionable insights that support business decisions.
• Lead medium to large-scale special projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
• Design and modify business processes to align with organizational objectives and enhance efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive reports using standardized tools and techniques to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement validation plans and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage onboarding and staffing processes for contingent workforce needs within the business unit.
• Oversee supplier relationships and ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
• Apply decision-making expertise to support commission functions and expense account management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIS and NERC guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of procedures related to business operations and process design.
• Proficiency in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research.
• Experience managing special projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as CCH Sales Tax and cyber validation plans.
• Ability to work onsite and manage contingent workforce processes.
• Excellent decision-making skills with a focus on business unit performance.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, including NIS and NERC compliance.
