We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and take ownership of our end-to-end accounting operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional who thrives on responsibility and has a passion for accuracy and organization.
- Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Record, classify, and reconcile general ledger accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Generate financial reports and analyses for management to provide key business insights.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy in financial data.
- File and submit accurate sales tax and other required government filings on a timely basis.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Manage employee benefit tracking and assist in maintaining payroll records.
- Oversee invoice processing, collections, and payment schedules to ensure smooth cash flow management.
- Monitor aging AP/AR reports and follow up on discrepancies when necessary.
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred.
- 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small to medium-sized business environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax regulations, and payroll practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and work independently to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
