Robert Half is working with a respected client in the healthcare industry seeking a Billing Coordinator to join its team. This is a permanent role, reporting into a Director of Finance, joining a team of 5. Our client is looking for a Billing Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years experience in Medicare Billing specifically. Our client is NOT looking for candidates with hospital billing experience, but more from the long term care and senior living space.
The desired candidate must have above average communication skills and heightened attention to detail. There's a lot of importing / exporting data from MS Excel so proficiency in Excel is important too. A degree is NOT required.

- Proven experience as a Billing Coordinator or similar role for a period of at least 2 years
- Proficiency in billing procedures, with a focus on medical and Medicare billing
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its applications within a billing context
- Excellent ability to handle and process large volumes of data with accuracy
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant legal and regulatory billing requirements
- Solid mathematical and analytical skills to resolve billing discrepancies
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients and team members
- High level of organization and ability to prioritize tasks to meet billing deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for spotting errors in billing data
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
