Billing Clerk II

We are looking for an experienced Billing Clerk to join our team in Woodland Park, New Jersey. In this contract to perm role, you will play a key part in managing complex billing functions within the printing and publishing industry. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise and contribute to the efficient operation of our billing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process detailed billing statements using specialized software tailored to the printing industry.

• Handle complex billing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and clarify billing-related inquiries.

• Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and update databases as needed.

• Generate reports to track billing performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing procedures and payment schedules.

• Assist in occasional overtime tasks to meet deadlines and support team objectives.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations in all billing activities.

• Support the transition and onboarding of new billing staff as required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing or a related office/accounting role.

• Strong skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to manage complex billing functions independently and efficiently.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.

• Familiarity with the printing and publishing industry is a plus.

• Availability to occasionally work overtime to meet deadlines and project goals.
