Billing Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team in Hopkins, Minnesota. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the construction billing process during its busiest time of the year. The role requires a strong ability to manage high-volume billing tasks, ensure accuracy, and work collaboratively with project teams.

Responsibilities:
• Process billing for completed construction projects, ensuring all invoices are accurate and finalized.
• Collaborate closely with construction coordinators to manage billing tasks and verify project completion details.
• Handle change orders and incorporate them into billing documentation in a timely manner.
• Learn and apply specific billing methods, such as 3C and 4C processes, to meet project requirements.
• Maintain precision and attention to detail in all billing activities, including recurring customer accounts.
• Utilize Global Edge software for billing operations and perform data entry with provided templates.
• Train on construction billing processes to adapt quickly and support the team efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with contractual billing agreements and prepare detailed billing statements.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks to ensure timely payments and proper documentation.
• Address customer inquiries related to billing and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related fields.
• Familiarity with construction billing processes or a background in construction-related industries.
• Intermediate proficiency in Global Edge software and basic knowledge of Excel for data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high-volume billing tasks.
• Ability to learn and adapt to specific billing methods and processes.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, customer billing, or marketing bids is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and addressing customer inquiries.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
