AVP of Operations

We are looking for an experienced and driven AVP of Operations to lead and oversee multiple projects in the residential construction industry. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage budgets effectively while ensuring project success. Based in Miami, Florida, this position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of six professionals, providing mentorship and ensuring optimal team performance.

• Manage multiple residential construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

• Develop and monitor budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive presentations to the board, outlining findings and project updates.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, stakeholders, and other parties involved in projects.

• Ensure all projects comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining quality and safety.

• Utilize detail-oriented and organizational skills to manage project schedules and resources efficiently.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and project execution.

• Apply expertise in residential construction to address challenges and drive project success.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in residential construction.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present findings effectively.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Experience managing budgets and tracking expenses.
• Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with residential construction processes and industry standards.
