Auditing Clerk

We are looking for an Auditing Clerk to join our team in Walnut Creek, California. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of data within a dynamic real estate and facilities management environment. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in utilizing various technical tools to ensure compliance and completeness in auditing of files and loan closing HUD statements against resident files.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed audits of system data to ensure compliance and completeness.

• Investigate and correct missing or inaccurate information by consulting multiple sources.

• Update and maintain data integrity across various platforms.

• Utilize Adobe Acrobat and other computer programs to process and verify information.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance data accuracy and reliability.

• Analyze resident data for errors and implement necessary corrections.

• Prepare reports summarizing audit findings and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Ensure all data aligns with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

• Apply advanced Microsoft Excel skills to organize and manipulate data efficiently.

• Monitor audit processes to identify trends and areas needing attention.

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for reviewing and editing documents.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple computer programs and systems.
• Strong skills in data processing and maintaining data accuracy.
• Familiarity with accounting functions and auditing practices.
• Expertise in working with PDF files and related tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and organization.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
