In this role, you will oversee audit processes, ensure compliance, and deliver thorough financial reporting across various industries. Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate audit documentation, workpapers, and reports prepared by entry-level auditors to ensure accuracy.
• Support external auditors by providing necessary assistance and information.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and partners through effective communication and networking.
• Offer strategic guidance and support to audit management and team members to improve processes.
• Identify unique issues during audits and develop solutions to address them efficiently.
• Take ownership of specific sections within audit programs and drive them to completion.
• Engage in ongoing development activities and attend training sessions to stay updated on industry practices.
• Conduct comprehensive financial audits and reporting for clients across diverse sectors, including private and not-for-profit organizations.
• Prepare detailed written reports with recommendations aimed at improving operations and identifying cost savings.
• Manage on-site audit engagements and ensure all processes align with established audit methodologies.
• Proven experience in performing Sarbanes-Oxley Testing.
• Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC) and audit methodologies.
• Prior experience working as an Audit Senior in a detail-oriented services environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports.
• Solid problem-solving skills to address issues and propose practical solutions.
• Commitment to ongoing development and industry knowledge expansion.
