Audit Manager - Public

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to oversee and enhance auditing processes within a public accounting environment. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, this role requires a strong background in information systems auditing and compliance testing. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in managing audits and ensuring regulatory standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage audit engagements for public entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Perform in-depth reviews of information systems to evaluate controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee Sarbanes-Oxley testing and ensure compliance with IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Provide guidance and mentorship to audit teams, fostering growth and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain documentation to support audit conclusions and recommendations.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and emerging trends to adapt audit processes accordingly.
• Utilize expertise as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) to drive high-quality audit results.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline audit procedures and enhance organizational compliance.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing within a public accounting environment.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation is required.
• Proficiency in conducting Sarbanes-Oxley testing and evaluating IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Strong knowledge of information systems auditing principles and practices.
• Proven ability to manage and lead audit teams effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and presenting findings.
