AR Credit Analyst

We are looking for an experienced B2B Accounts Receivable / Credit Analyst to join our team in Richardson, Texas, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. This role involves managing collections, researching payment discrepancies, and ensuring accurate cash applications, all while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams. Ideal candidates will have a proven background in commercial collections and manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research to resolve payment discrepancies and locate missing payments.

• Manage the collection of receivables within established terms and conditions.

• Assist with accounts receivable cleanup by contacting customers to confirm payment statuses.

• Apply customer payments accurately and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address disputes and improve collection processes.

• Maintain detailed records of collections and reconciliation activities.

• Utilize systems such as JD Edwards and Salesforce to streamline tasks and enhance efficiency.

• Provide recommendations on improving billing, collections, and cash application processes.

• Communicate effectively with external customers and internal departments to resolve issues promptly.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in commercial collections and AR cash applications.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research and apply critical thinking.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards and Salesforce is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and other financial tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
