Application Support Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer to oversee and optimize the performance of our business applications, including manufacturing software and enterprise systems. In this role, you will ensure seamless operation, troubleshoot issues, and support integrations to promote efficient workflows. Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain business applications, including manufacturing software and enterprise systems, to ensure optimal performance.
• Configure and install applications based on company requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and oversee integrations between various systems to facilitate smooth data flow and functionality.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement system integrations and resolve any compatibility challenges.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot application-related issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions in operations.
• Enhance application security by monitoring vulnerabilities, applying updates, and implementing robust protocols.
• Provide training and technical support to users, ensuring proper utilization of applications.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes for reference and consistency.
• Stay informed on advancements in application technologies and suggest upgrades or enhancements to optimize operations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a related field.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Strong expertise in configuration management and API development and management.
• Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP or similar enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of cloud integrations and related frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to improve application performance.
