We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Rosamond, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of customer accounts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while applying your expertise in accounts receivable and accrual accounting.Responsibilities:• Oversee the processing and monitoring of incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely posting to customer accounts.• Apply accrual accounting principles to align revenue recognition with company policies and industry standards.• Generate and distribute precise invoices to clients in accordance with contractual agreements and service terms.• Manage overdue accounts by monitoring aged receivables and collaborating with customers to resolve outstanding balances.• Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts and general ledger entries, promptly addressing any discrepancies.• Create detailed reports on accounts receivable aging, bad debt analysis, and other key metrics for management review.• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and operations, to resolve billing and payment issues effectively.• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within accounts receivable operations.• Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
