Accounts Receivable Specialist I

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple databases and contributing to business-to-business collections and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments, including cases where payments are short or missing.

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including aging accounts and reconciliation of commercial accounts.

• Utilize multiple databases daily, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems like Oracle and GetPaid.

• Conduct business-to-business collections with professionalism and efficiency.

• Collaborate with team members to measure and improve operational processes.

• Train onsite in downtown Saint Paul, with the potential for remote work in the future.

• Handle retail-related tasks, including inventory management and reconciliation.

• Provide detailed reporting and analysis to support financial decision-making.

• Work closely with managers and colleagues to ensure smooth workflows.

• Maintain strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Proficiency in managing and navigating multiple databases daily.
• Strong knowledge of business-to-business collections and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with systems such as Oracle, GetPaid, and Hiradias.
• Ability to analyze and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
• Retail experience, particularly in inventory management, is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable working both onsite and remotely, as required.
