Accounts Receivable Clerk

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes, including billing, credit management, collections, and cash applications.

• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner to ensure proper documentation.

• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments to maintain healthy cash flow.

• Handle commercial collections with professionalism and efficiency.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Utilize intermediate-level Excel skills to analyze data and generate reports.

• Provide exceptional customer service when addressing client inquiries related to accounts receivable.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as needed.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures throughout all accounts receivable activities.

• At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in full-cycle accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and cash applications.
• Strong understanding of commercial collections and credit management.
• Intermediate-level expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and interpret spreadsheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve account discrepancies.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
