Accounts Receivable Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, resolving account discrepancies, and ensuring accurate billing practices. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts receivable and a commitment to fostering positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct weekly reviews of customer accounts to identify billing errors and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Process daily payment uploads to accurately apply transactions and update accounts receivable subledger balances.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address account differences and manage overdue balances.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Billing, Pricing, Sales, and Operations, to onboard new customers and establish effective billing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all account transactions and communications.
• Take ownership of ad hoc projects and perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Practical experience in accounts receivable, billing functions, and cash applications.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for customer interaction and internal collaboration.
