We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of their recently acquired businesses. This role is critical in providing short-term support during an exciting transitional period while ensuring the continuation of day-to-day operations.

This engagement provides a fantastic opportunity to work with a welcoming, tightly knit team while also contributing to the success of an evolving organization. Onsite role expected to span a duration of 3-4 months (with potential adaptability depending on business needs).

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to vendors.
• Collect, track, and analyze data related to inventory and trucking (proficiency in Excel is vital).
• Perform inventory and trucking ticket analysis for monthly accruals.
• Maintain organized accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and accounts payable files.
• Assist with check distribution and ensure timely, accurate payments.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 years of accounts payable experience is expected. Compensation will be considered in alignment with experience offered.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required.

Skills:

• Proficiency with spreadsheets (basic Excel functions like sorting, filtering, and basic formulas).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for vendor interaction.
• Adaptability: Must thrive in a changing environment and be comfortable with updated systems (experience with construction-specific accounting software is helpful but not required).
