Accounts Payable Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and optimize the accounts payable function for our organization in the Howell, New Jersey area. This leadership role requires a highly organized individual capable of managing a team, improving processes, and utilizing technology to drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sage Intacct and a proven track record in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full accounts payable lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

• Supervise and develop a team of accounts payable specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving payment discrepancies promptly.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and industry standards for accurate financial transactions.

• Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, including aging schedules and cash flow impact, to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

• Design and implement process improvements and leverage automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.

• Develop scalable systems and workflows that support organizational growth and adaptability.

• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to streamline processes and resolve accounts payable challenges.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience managing accounts payable processes, preferably in the healthcare industry.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and development.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams.

• Proven ability to implement process improvements and utilize automation tools.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable principles, compliance standards, and healthcare regulations.

• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional data management and analytical skills.
