Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our client's team! This position will join an accounting team consisting of a CFO, Controller, other accounting team members. Ideal candidates with have prior accounting experience within the construction industry (accounts payable, accounts receivable, and AIA billing, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• AIA Billing
• Certified payroll and wage garnishments
• Lien waivers
• Change orders
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• General office and administrative support for accounting team

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and accounting standards.

• Hands-on experience with Sage 300 and Acumatica accounting software.

• Familiarity with AIA billing, certified payroll, and prevailing wage requirements.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing electronic job folders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
