• Manage and oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring consistency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, addressing inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial data.
• Prepare and review journal entries for various accounting transactions, ensuring proper categorization and documentation.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting procedures and systems.
• Monitor compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies, recommending adjustments as needed.
• Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced accounting staff, fostering their growth and development.
• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and related documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries with attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
