Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee the financial operations of multiple manufacturing entities in Warminster, Pennsylvania. This role requires a meticulous individual with strong leadership skills to manage accounting processes, drive operational improvements, and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial standards. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise and the ability to mentor and lead a team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily accounting operations across multiple manufacturing entities, including maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries.

• Lead month-end closing activities and ensure accurate preparation of financial statements.

• Coordinate external financial reviews and audits to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

• Develop and enhance internal reporting structures to support the needs of accounting, operations, and other departments.

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows.

• Support growth initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration activities.

• Supervise and mentor members of the accounting team, fostering their growth and development.

• Maintain adherence to company policies and internal control structures while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Collaborate with leadership on succession planning and transition strategies.

• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Accounting or Finance are preferred.
• A minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in technical accounting principles, including GAAP and US GAAP standards.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and advanced charting.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Teams for reporting and collaboration.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring precision in financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and present financial insights clearly.
