In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial document management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and Excel, along with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage spreadsheets in Excel, utilizing formulas for calculations such as averages, summing, sorting, and conditional formatting.
- Prepare and merge documents efficiently, including scanning and compiling into organized formats.
- Process accounts receivable tasks, including billing, credit allocations, and verifying purchase orders.
- Manage accounts payable by reviewing purchase receipts, verifying statement balances, and ensuring proper entry with accurate dates.
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise for financial tracking and reporting.
- Verify office payroll time entries and ensure accurate processing.
- Take detailed meeting notes and distribute them to relevant team members.
- Enter fixed assets into financial records and assist in setting up insurance policies.
- Load properties and allocate appropriate tax codes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise or similar accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas and formatting tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial processes.
- Reliability and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for note-taking and document preparation.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed to support the team.
