Accounting Assistant

Robert Half is partnering with one of its clients for a fantastic Entry Level Accounting opening. Heavy focus on AP, bank statements, and vendor management at first. Clear path for career growth within the company. Please apply if you are looking to build out your accounting career!

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices with accuracy and ensure timely payment to vendors.

• Handle vendor management, including maintaining relationships and resolving payment inquiries.

• Perform remote bank deposits for checks and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.

• Track and process prepaid cards for employees, maintaining detailed records.

• Assist with coding invoices and preparing them for entry into accounting systems.

• Support monthly bank reconciliations and identify any discrepancies.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial procedures.

• Provide assistance in preparing financial reports and documentation as needed.

• Bachelors in Finance and Accounting is preferred.

• Prior AP/invoicing experience is a big plus.

• Effective Data Entry skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills for vendor and team interactions.

• Capability to adapt and grow within the position, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and skill development.
