Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
• Working with other departments, such as inventory control, to ensure quality standards are met
• Support month-end close by ensuring proper cutoffs and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
• 2 years' experience in accounting, manufacturing industry required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
