Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for over 100 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Manage payroll deductions, including benefits, taxes, and other withholdings.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Maintain up-to-date records of employee payroll data and ensure confidentiality.
- Generate reports and summaries for management regarding payroll activities.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews related to payroll processes.
- Support ad hoc payroll projects and initiatives as needed.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and ensure implementation.
- Utilize payroll software effectively to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably for a workforce of 100 employees.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and tools to manage payroll operations.
- Strong knowledge of payroll deductions, including taxes and benefits.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations at the state and federal levels.
- Strong communication skills to address employee inquiries and collaborate with teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience with generating payroll reports and supporting audits is a plus.
