Overview
Robert E. Lamb, Inc. is seeking a driven and client-focused Salesperson / Account Manager to identify, qualify, and manage opportunities in the industrial, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical sectors. This role serves as a key player in expanding our client base and maintaining long-term relationships through all phases of design and construction projects. You will work closely with internal architectural, engineering, and construction teams to deliver solutions that meet our clients' unique facility and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Proactively prospect for new client opportunities within the industrial, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical markets in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
- Qualify leads through research, outreach, and discovery conversations.
- Conduct initial client meetings and site visits, presenting the firm’s capabilities and value proposition.
- Track and maintain leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project development, from initial engagement to project completion.
- Understand client business objectives and coordinate internally to ensure alignment of project delivery with client needs.
- Facilitate regular communication and updates with clients during preconstruction, design, and construction phases.
Internal Coordination
- Collaborate closely with internal design, engineering, and construction management teams to ensure seamless handoff and continuity of service.
- Participate in internal strategy meetings to align client goals with technical and operational project execution.
- Provide client context and priorities during project planning, design meetings, and execution reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, client management, or business development, ideally in the industrial, manufacturing, or construction-related sectors.
- Strong understanding of the facility design and construction process, especially for manufacturing, cleanroom, utility-intensive, or data-driven environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
