Job Title: Warehouse Product Picker / Loader

Job Summary

The Warehouse Product Picker / Loader is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and loading merchandise to fulfill customer orders. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, this position uses RF scanners and material handling equipment to locate, retrieve, stack, and load products according to company standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring order accuracy, operational efficiency, and on-time deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanning technology.
• Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse storage locations.
• Verify product descriptions, quantities, and serial numbers to ensure order accuracy and minimize shipping errors.
• Stack, wrap, and label merchandise securely on pallets to prepare orders for shipment.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, following all company safety procedures.
• Load completed pallets onto side-load and rear-load delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Comply with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety standards.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and warehouse traffic.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment with varying noise levels.
• Exposure to changing temperatures, including refrigerated storage areas.
• Frequent use of warehouse equipment and material handling machinery.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners or other warehouse management technology preferred.
• Forklift and/or pallet jack certification is a plus, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
