What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ag Equipment Operator position at Robert Bybee?
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (some of which is equipped with GPS) such as loader, swather, baler, rake to fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools. Approximate staggered entry: 1 worker to begin May 1 and 6 workers to begin July 15.
