**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both clinical and administrative tasks, providing vital support to physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals. Bilingual in Spanish is Preferred but not required. You will assist with patient care, administrative duties, and ensure the smooth operation of the practice. Renew Vein and Vascular is an Interventional Radiology medical office. We currently have three offices, in Bell Gardens, Korea Town, and Buena Park. . **Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations, taking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and minor medical procedures
- Administer injections and medications as directed by the physician
- Perform basic lab tests and draw blood samples - Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule patient appointments and manage phone calls
- Assist with billing, coding, and insurance documentation as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care in a professional manner
- Ensure the exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient visits
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program (CMA or RMA certification preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
