Loaded and unloaded crops, containers, and materials manually or with conveyors, while monitoring equipment to detect malfunctions and making minor repairs or reporting issues as needed. Assisted with planting by working alongside or riding planting equipment and placing plants at specified intervals, while also tilling soil and supporting overall crop cultivation. Directed and supervised seasonal workers during planting, weeding, and harvesting, and reported crop progress to farm managers. Maintain a clean and safe work area, handled packaging and labeling of products, and recorded order and production information. Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers. Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools on the farm.Related occupations.
