We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join us as our Wellness Director—someone who leads with heart, communicates with kindness, and supports both residents and staff with patience and understanding. This person should be compassionate in their approach but also comfortable offering guidance, addressing concerns, and helping staff stay on track in a positive and respectful manner.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a nurse leader who is naturally caring and approachable, yet able to gently provide direction and maintain clear expectations. The ideal candidate brings a calm presence, listens well, and builds trust with the team—while also being confident in setting boundaries, guiding staff, and ensuring our care standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the caregiving teams with kindness, patience, and steady guidance
- Ensure all resident care follows state requirements and Robbinswood quality standards
- Complete assessments, update care plans, and oversee accurate clinical documentation
- Provide gentle, constructive coaching and feedback to staff
- Maintain open, caring communication with residents, families, and team members
- Assist with training, growth, onboarding, and helping new staff feel welcomed
- Keep the clinical department organized and functioning smoothly
- Work closely with the Administrator and leadership team to nurture a positive workplace culture
Qualifications:
- Maintain a current RN license in the State of Michigan
- Experience in assisted living, rehab/ long-term care, memory care, or senior care (preferred)
- Strong communication skills with a calm, compassionate leadership style
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks
- Dedication to providing high-quality care awhile supporting caregivers

Full-time, Monday–Friday; with on-call responsibilities
