Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Day Custodian at Robbinsdale Area Schools, located in Minneapolis, MN. The Head Day Custodian will oversee and perform daily custodial duties to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained school environment. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining facilities, managing custodial supplies and equipment, leading and coordinating with other custodial staff, and performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs. The role also involves compliance with safety standards, addressing building maintenance concerns, and ensuring the facility is operational for all student, staff, and community activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in custodial duties such as cleaning, waste management, and facility maintenance
- Skills in minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and using custodial tools and equipment
- Ability to supervise and coordinate work with a team of custodians
- Organizational skills for managing inventory of custodial supplies and equipment
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and standards related to facilities management

- High school diploma or equivalent; prior relevant experience is preferred
