What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Robbins Manufacturing Company, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
AR/AP:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions at our Lake City location
- Ensure accurate and timely coding and recording of invoices
- Ensure accurate and timely payment to Logging and Freight vendors
- Provide Accounts Payable and Receivable support and back-up for the Webster, FL team
General Accounting:
- Manage recording, analysis, and reporting for all transportation costs incurred by the Company
- Record daily financial activity and prepare and post journal entries for Lake City operations
- Includes general AR/AP duties for Lake City location
- Assist management team in the reconciliation and analysis of inventory
- Weekly and Monthly Budget vs Actual analysis
- Assist with the preparation of the Annual Budget
- Prepare documents for the Annual Audit
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a 4-year accredited University or equivalent experience in a finance/accounting position
- Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
