Description

Robbins Lumber is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in industrial settings. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning efficiently and safely. Experience with lumber processing equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Fabricate and modify parts as needed
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
